Atlantic City Views

Atlantic City Is a shore resort in Southern New Jersey  best known now for it's casinos . 

 It is located about midway on the new jersey coast.  It's origins date back to the late 1800's as a resort city with numerous large hotels. tourists visited for recreation, to escape the summer heat of the city's and two enjoyed the sandy beaches and cool ocean water.   The city was in a period of decline through the 1960's and 1970's.  The introduction of gambling in the nineteen seventies brought about a huge construction boom which unfortunately resulted in a destruction of many of the classic hotels and buildings in the city. 

Today, the Casinos and associated gambling industry are the largest attraction in Atlantic City. People also enjoy the beaches, fishing and boardwalk.
